The National Zoo located 13km north-east of Kuala Lumpur. Laid out around a center lake, the zoo houses a collection of flora and fauna native to Malaysia as well as from other parts of the globe. The National Zoo houses hundreds of different species of mammals, reptiles and birds. The aquarium has a extensive collection of marine and fresh-water life within the extensive grounds, is an area for sea-lions where visitors can see them being most active during feeding time.
